Yes 4 stars because.....

So even though I read mostly poor reviews about this book I must admit that after reading it for myself I thoroughly enjoyed the plot. The first couple of chapters were extremely tedious and the book in its entirety is filled with unnecessary details..........the plot became quite interesting with some very nice twists. If you can struggle through the detailed descriptions you may yet find it to be an interesting read.

Colton is reluctant at first but decides he will court Adriana for a period of 90 days to prove that love cannot be forced, as Adriana tries hard not to fall in love with the man she idolized since childhood, her passion is awakened by the one who once scorned her. Colton's lusts are awaken by the enchanting beauty, but his stubborn heart won't give in ..until a rivals treachery threatens his very possible happy ending.

Definitely Not Her Best!

Ms. Woodiwiss, please re-read The Flame and The Flower so you can remember what truly entertaining writing is about. The last one-third of this book was quite entertaining as all the stories FINALLY entertwined, but the first two-thirds were dull and slow. Both the main characters seemed stupid, particularly Adriana, who was dull and spoiled, with little but her beauty to recommend her. Ms. Woodiwiss also seems to have a fascination with the word "orbs" as she must use it at least a hundred times in the book, to describe the characters' eyes and breasts. Not her worst, but absolutely not her best. That honor, in my opinion, still belongs to The Flame and The Flower.
