About the Author
Paul (The Tutor) Osborne, Ed.M., has been preparing students with learning disabilities for the SAT for the past seven years. As a dyslexic test taker himself, Paul understands the unique challenges LD students face when it comes to taking the SAT. After earning his Masters of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, Paul began teaching general SAT-preparation classes for Princeton Review. He then went on to train and supervise other SAT course instructors.

It's about time!

With the number of kids diagnosed with learning disabilities steadily increasing, the need for a book like this has never been greater. I am surprised more educators had not demanded that a book like this be written 10 years ago. Fortunately, Paul Osborne has stepped in with a combination of real life experience (he too is a dyslexic test-taker) and great methods that he has developed over the course of a 10 year + career as an educator. The book contains great advice and easy to follow steps to help kids with a variety of learning differences tackle the SAT and excel. An excellent resource.

Good ideas but if you don't qualify for extra time, hard to use

This book is easy to read with some good common sense ideas. That said, if you don't qualify for extra time, you won't have time to do the things suggested in the book. If you do qualify, this is a good investment.
