A VERY good resource for parents of all faiths.

I have an old hardback edition of this great book. I sent a friend one I bought here on Amazon and she loved it. This book includes many drawings and photographs you will not find in other similar works. It's a good source for understanding the cultural context of the biblical scriptures. I very highly recommend it for parents!

Very good book

For those who either do not have a Biblical background, this is easy to understand and in storybook form w/out being a children's Bible. Very informative. Details added on the time period and also archeological finds. If you do have a good Biblical background, it just adds great information to an already amazing book!
